Recall of Melting Moments Frosted Carrot Cakes due to presence of undeclared allergens
Melting Moments is recalling two batch of Frosted Carrot Cakes because of undeclared peanuts
The Food Standards Agency has posted a recall notice about the Melting Moments Frosted Carrot Cakes. The problem is about the incorrect allergen labelling and the presence of peanuts which are not mentioned on the label, so it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts. The recall is Northern Ireland specific.
If you have bought the Melting Moments Frosted Carrot Cakes and you are allergic to peanuts, check the Best Before date: if it coincide with the recalled product, do not consume it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
