Recall of Baronet, Baby Baronet and Mini Baronet Soft Cheese due to possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes (Update)
The Old Cheese Room is recalling Baronet, Baby Baronet and Mini Baronet Soft Cheese because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes

The Food Standards Agency has posted on its site a recall notice by The Old Cheese Room about Baronet, Baby Baronet and Mini Baronet Soft Cheese. The problem is about the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Symptoms caused by this organism can be similar to flu, feeling or being sick, and diarrhoea. However, in rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications, such as meningitis.
If you have bought the Baronet, Baby Baronet and Mini Baronet Soft Cheese check the Best before date: if it coincides with the recalled product, do not consume it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. The Best before date can be found on the back label of the product.
