Recall of Alesto Californian Pistachios Roasted & Salted due to presence of salmonella

The Food Standard Agency and Lidl have posted on their site a recall notice about a batch of Alesto Californian Pistachios Roasted & Salted. The problem is the contamination of salmonella that has been found in the product, which can trigger severe gastrointestinal symptoms. No other Alesto products in Lidl GB stores are affected by this recall.

This recall notice is England specific. If you have bought one of the Alesto Californian Pistachios Roasted & Salted pack, check the Batch Code and the Best Before date: if they match with the recalled product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store where you bought it for a refund, with or without a receipt.
