As for its savoury uses, mascarpone is great in pasta sauces, risottos and in Italy, it’s a common pizza topping.
You can find mascarpone in most supermarkets but a good alternative is to mix; 30 g of cream cheese, 64g sour cream with 60 ml of heavy whipping cream.
