Whether you like it smooth or crunchy, peanut butter is undoubtedly the king of all the nut butters. It’s used in cookies, cakes, brownies, ice cream, the list goes on but did you know you can make it yourself at home? No? well keep reading!

All you need are some peanuts and a high powered blender and thats it!

If you are looking for a healthy way to enjoy peanut butter you can try it as a porridge topping or adding into fruit smoothies! It is also a common ingredient in protein bars and energy bites!
Peanut butter is low in carbs so they can be enjoyed if you are on a keto diet. It is high in protein, fibre and fat which means it scores low on the glycemic index making them a good snack for people with diabetes.

Peanut butter is also super nutrient-rich! It’s high in niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, thiamin, riboflavin, choline, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin E.

It also has extremely high levels in minerals like potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.
No to mention they contain good amounts of calcium, zinc, iron, copper, manganese and selenium. Making peanut butter surprisingly good for you!

Ingredient list

Peanuts 400gsalted
Honey 1TBSP (UK)

Step nr: 1 - Blitz peanuts

Peanuts 400gram
Honey 1tablespoon (UK)
Preparation time 2 Minutes
Total time 2 Minutes

Add the nuts and honey to the food processor. Blend on high until you have a spreadable consistency.

If you want a slightly crunchier consistency blend for less time.

Step nr: 2 - Blitz again

Preparation time 3 Minutes
Total time 3 Minutes

Scrape the sides and bottom of the food processor with a silicone spatula and blend agian.

Step nr: 3 - Add to a jar

Preparation time 2 Minutes
Total time 2 Minutes

Add the peanut butter to a jar and keep in the fridge for up to 6 months.
