Recall of My Sweet Chickpea products due to presence of undeclared milk
My Sweet Chickpea is recalling various Dark Chocolate My Sweet Chickpea products because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label
The Food Standards Agency and Sainsbury’s have posted on their site a recall notice by My Sweet Chickpea about various Dark Chocolate My Sweet Chickpea products. The problem is about the presence of milk which is not been declared on the packaging making it a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents: the issue come from cross contamination, as the products are produced in a factory that uses milk and milk derivatives as an ingredient.
If you have bought the My Sweet Chickpea Dark Chocolate products and you are allergic to milk or milk constituents, check the Best Before date and Lot numbers: if they coincide with the recalled product, do not consume it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. The codes can be found on the back of the pack in the bottom left corner.
