Recall of Tesco Free From Bran Flakes due to possible presence of undeclared allergens
Tesco is recalling one date code of Tesco Free From Bran Flakes because there may be another type of cereal which contains undeclared allergens
The Food Standards Agency and Tesco have posted on their site a recall notice about the Tesco Free From Bran Flakes. The problem is about a possibile packaging error: it may contain another type of cereal called chocolate pillows, which contains milk and hazelnut. So, it might not be safe consume this product for people with an allergy or intolerance to milk and/or nuts.
If you have bought the Tesco Free From Bran Flakes and you are allergic to milk or nuts, check the Best Before date: if they coincide with the recalled product, do not consume it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. No receipt is required.
