An electric whisk has two main parts; an electronic base and detachable attachments called beaters (or whisks). Other attachments can include dough hooks for kneading bread and some can come with hand blender attachments.

Electric whisks are commonly used in baking, they can be used to combine both the dry and wet ingredients easier and faster than by hand. They making whipping egg whites and cream almost effortless!
