Tefal Cuisine Companion bowl plug fits into the cooking bowl, it is used to seal the cooking bowl so you can use it as a slow cooker or to cook pasta. You can use it to cook stews, curries and casseroles.
Important information
Once you have selected an automatic programme or manually programmed the machine press the Start/Stop button once to commence the cooking process.
Press the Start/Stop button again to pause the operation. The display screen will flash when the unit has been paused.
If the cancel button is pressed during a pre-set programme, the unit will return to the previous stage. To cancel the programme hold down the button for 2 seconds and the machine will return to standby mode. The unit will beep 3 times when the function has been cancelled.
After cooking
Be careful when handling the bowl plug after it has been used in cooking – it can remain hot even after the appliance has been turned off.
Cleaning
To clean empty the cooking bowl and when cooled remove the plug. Wash with warm soapy water then rinse each part thoroughly with clean running water. It can also be added to the dishwasher.
