Almond milk

Almond milk is a dairy-free milk substitute. It can be used in all the same ways as cow milk.

Almond milk

Almond milk is a dairy-free milk substitute made from blended almonds and water. It looks very similar to milk but it tastes slightly sweeter and has a slightly nutty flavour.

It is usually sold in cartons but it can also be sold in powdered form. Some brands add flavourings to make it taste more like cows milk or other flavourings like vanilla or chocolate.

Almond milk is great for people with lactose intolerant and people who follow a vegan diet. It is used in the exact same way as cow milk. It’s used in coffee, tea, smoothies and to make hot chocolate.

Products made with almond milk include yogurt, cheese and ice cream.

If you are not keen on the taste of almond milk and you are looking for a non-dairy milk alternative you can try soy milk, rice milk or oat milk.
