The Kenwood whisk is an accessory that fits into the cooking bowl. It is used for whisking light ingredients like egg whites and cream. It is great in making mayonnaise and hollandaise sauce. The whisk tool has two arms each with two teeth on each arm.
It can be used with the sauce function, the desert function and in the manual mode.
After selecting an automatic program or a manual setting press the start/stop button to commence the cooking function. Press the button again to pause the operation. The display will flash when paused.
Always remove the whisk tool before pouring the content from the bowl to avoid splashing of hot ingredients.
Be careful when handling the whisk tool after it has been used in cooking as it can remain hot even after the appliance has been turned off.
You can use the RINSE function to clean the whisk tool.
To use the RINSE function:
- Fit the whisk tool in the cooking bowl.
- Add water to the 1L mark.
- Fit the lid with the filler cap.
- Press the steam button and select the RINCE programme.
- Press start/stop button.
- When the programme has finished remove the part and dry thoroughly.
The whisk tool can also be cleaned in the dishwasher!
