Silvercrest Monsieur Cuisine spatula

The Silvercrest Monsieur Cuisine spatula is used to stir ingredients and to remove the steamer basket form the cooking bowl. The spatula has a fairly typical design with a few extra features.

It has a slight hook near the tip which allows you to remove the hot cooking pot without having to touch it directly. Simply hook on the metal bracket of the cooking pot and pull it out upwards.

Another notable extra is the large rim on the handle. the rim allows you to use the spatula while the blade is running with the lid on without it falling into the bowl and causing damage.

Always stir clockwise because the spatula is designed not to come into contact with the blade assembly even if that is running.

The rim also props up the spatula when left on a flat surface minimising the mess.

Important information

The spatula must not be used with the mixer attachment. The spatula might get caught in the mixer attachment and disrupt the machine.

Cleaning

Wash the mixer attachment with warm soapy water then rinse each part thoroughly with clean running water. You can also clean the mixer in the dishwasher!
