Recall of Co-op 2 Salmon En Croute due to undeclared prawns (crustaceans)
The recall of the Co-op 2 Salmon En Croute has been published by the Food Standards Agency, and the problem is about undeclared prawns in the product
The Food Standards Agency has published the recall notice of the Co-op 2 Salmon En Croute because there are undeclared prawns (crustaceans) in the product and no mention of them on the label. So this is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to prawns and/or crustaceans.
In order to avoid a potential risk to costumers, Co-op has decided to proceed with a voluntary precaution and is recalling Co-op 2 Salmon En Croute 400g with the Use by date 11 Nov & 12 Nov and batch code WO140950 and WO140951.
If you have an allergy or intolerance to prawns (crustaceans) and have bought this product with the same use by date, do not to consume it and to return it to nearest Coop store for a refund, or if you are self-isolating or shielding please contact the Co-op Customer Careline at 0800 0686 727 or customer.careline@coop.co.uk.
