The Food Standards Scotland has posted on its site a recall notice issued by A.J. Hornig Ltd about various haggis products: the A.J. Hornig’s Ltd’s Haggis and the A.J. Hornig Ltd’s Sweet Chilli Haggis. The problem is about the possible presence of small pieces of blue plastic in the product, which therefore constitutes a risk to the health of consumers.
If you have bought the A.J. Hornig Ltd haggis products, check if pack size and use by date are the same of the recalled product. If so, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store. No other A.J. Hornig Ltd products are known to be affected.
Here the data of the recalled products:
A.J. Hornig’s Ltd’s Haggis
- Pack size: 1.5kg, 450g, 200g and 160g
- Use by Date: Use by 07 January 2022
A.J. Hornig Ltd’s Sweet Chilli Haggis
- Pack size: 1.5kg, 450g and 200g
- Use by Date: Use by 07 January 2022
