Bennett Opie Ltd is recalling Opies Pickled Walnuts because they may contain mustard and sulphites which are not mentioned on the label

The Food Standards Agency, Tesco, and Waitrose have posted on thir sites a recall notice issued by Bennett Opie Ltd about a batch of Opies Pickled Walnuts. The problem is about a packaging error: some jars may contain pickled cornichons and onions with mustard and sulphites as ingredients which are not declared on the label.

If you have bought the Opies Pickled Walnuts and you have an allergy to mustard and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxides and/or sulphites, check if the Batch Code and the Best Before Date are the same of the recalled product. If so, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store where you’ll have a full refund. No other Bennett Opie Ltd products are known to be affected.
