Recall of Waitrose pasta products due to undeclared allergens

Waitrose is recalling some of their pasta products because there is undeclared pistachio in the product

Recall of Waitrose pasta products due to undeclared allergens

The Food Standards Agency and Waitrose have posted on their site a recall notice about a some batch of Waitrose Prosciutto Cappelletti and Waitrose Essentials Cheese and Smoked Ham Tortelloni. The problem is about the lack of indications of the pistachio (nuts) allergen on the label, so it is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.

If you have bought this product, check the Use By date: if this coincides with the data of the withdrawn products and you have an allergy to nuts, then do not consume the product but return it to the Waitrose & Partners branch for a full refund.

Here the data of the recalled products:

Waitrose Prosciutto Cappelletti

  • Pack size: 310g
  • Use by: 20 February 2022 and 21 February 2022

Waitrose Essentials Cheese and Smoked Ham Tortelloni

  • Pack size: 300g
  • Use by: 21 February 2022
