Recall of infant formula powders due to the possible presence of Salmonella

The Food Standards Agency and ASDA have posted on their site a recall notice of Abbott about various batches of Elecare Similac and Alimentum Similac infant formula powders. The problem is about the possible presence of Salmonella, which symptoms usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
UPDATE: The Food Standards Agency has updated its recall in order to add the possibile presence of Cronobacter sakazakii and amended date and batch codes.

Both products are foods used for special medical purposes for infants, ordinarily to be used under medical supervision. So, if you have purchased or been prescribed any of the product listed below, do not feed it to your baby and return to the place of purchase.
