Recall of various pork snack products due to the presence of Salmonella

The Food Standards Agency, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and Waitrose have posted on their site a recall notice of Freshers Foods Ltd about various batches of pork snack products. The problem is about the presence of Salmonella that has been found in some of the products, so Freshers Foods Ltd is taking the precautionary step of recalling other lines.

The symptoms of Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps. Already at the beginning of February, a notice was published regarding the presence of Salmonella in some packages of Snaffling Pig Pork Scratching’s Perfectly Salted.

The products are packed in foil packets and glass jars. If you have purchased any of the product listed below, do not eat it and return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund.
