Recall of Culinea Paella due to allergens and cooking instructions not declared in English

The Food Standard Agency has posted on its site two recall notice about a batch of Culinea Paella. The problem is about the lack of English translation of the cooking instructions and the list of allergens, causing a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to crustaceans, fish, molluscs and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, but also for incorrect cooking.

This recall notice is Northern Ireland specific. If you have bought one of the Culinea Paella pack, check the Batch Code and the Best Before date: if they match with the recalled product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store where you bought it for a refund.

Here the data of the recalled products:

  • Pack size: 750g
  • Batch code: L1354-2
  • Best before: 20 June 2023
