A.J. Hornig Ltd is recalling various haggis products because they may contain small pieces of plastic, which make the product unsuitable for eating

The Food Standards Scotland has posted on its site a recall notice issued by A.J. Hornig Ltd about various haggis products: the A.J. Hornig’s Ltd’s Haggis and the A.J. Hornig Ltd’s Sweet Chilli Haggis. The problem is about the possible presence of small pieces of blue plastic in the product, which therefore constitutes a risk to the health of consumers.

If you have bought the A.J. Hornig Ltd haggis products, check if pack size and use by date are the same of the recalled product. If so, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store. No other A.J. Hornig Ltd products are known to be affected.
