Recall of Ombar Centres Coconut and Vanilla due to undeclared nuts

Waitrose has posted on its site a recall notice issued by Moon Foods Ltd about a batch of Ombar Centres Coconut and Vanilla. The problem is about a packaging error: some packs have been filled with Ombar Centres Hazelnut Truffle 70g, which contain nuts (hazelnut) which is not declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts (hazelnut).

If you have bought the Ombar Centres Coconut and Vanill and you have an allergy to nuts, check if the batch code and the best before date are the same of the recalled product. If so, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store where you’ll have a full refund.

Here the data of the recalled products:

Ombar Centres Coconut and Vanilla

  • Pack size: 70g
  • Batch code: 354
  • Best before: 30 SEP 2022
