Recall of Classic Cuisine Midlands products due to undeclared mustard and celery
Classic Cuisine Midlands Ltd is recalling nine of their products because they contain mustard and celery which are not mentioned on the label
The Food Standards Agency has posted on its site a food recall notice about some Classic Cuisine Midlands products, such as the Classic Cuisine Shish kebab, the Classic Cuisine Shami kebab, the Classic Cuisine Chicken Kebab, the Classic Cuisine Vegetable samosa, the Classic Cuisine Lamb samosa, the Classic Cuisine Chicken samosa, the Classic Cuisine Chicken pakora, the Classic Cuisine Tandoori pakora, and the Classic Cuisine Lamb khatlama. No other Classic Cuisine Midlands Ltd products are known to be affected.
The problem is about an error in the label regarding allergen indications: the products above mentioned and below listed contain celery and mustard making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery and/or mustard.
If you have bought these products, check the use by date: if it coincides with the data of the withdrawn products, then do not consume the product but return it to the store for a refund.
