Recall of Safi 100% Original Butter Ghee due to production in an unapproved establishment

Safi is recalling their Safi 100% Original Butter Ghee product because they have been produced in an unapproved establishment

Recall of Safi 100% Original Butter Ghee due to production in an unapproved establishment

The Food Standards Agency has posted on its site a recall notice about the Safi 100% Original Butter Ghee, cow ghee and sheep ghee. The problem is about the lack of food safety measures in the establishment of production: the products were not prepared in line with food hygiene and legislative requirements, so they may be unsafe. The food recall alert is England and Northern Ireland specific.

If you have bought this product, check the Best before date at the bottom left of the label: if this coincides with the data of the withdrawn products, do not consume the product but return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund, with or without a receipt.
