Recall of Quorn Bites products due to undeclared mustard and milk and packaging error
Quorn Food is recalling its Quorn Bites Sweet Chilli, Korma, and Garlic & Herb because there are mustard and milk which are not mentioned on the label as a result of a packaging error
The Food Standards Agency and Waitrose have posted on their site a recall notice of Quorn Food about three variants of Quorn Bites products, in particular the Quorn Sweet Chilli, Korma, and Garlic & Herb Bites. The problem concerns a packaging error that caused the product to be exchanged between the three variants, so the product contained could be different from the indication on the packaging. This error also caused the allergen indications not to match the product actually contained in the package, and therefore there may be undeclared mustard and milk.
If you have bought these Quorn Bites products and you have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and / or an allergy to mustard, check the Use By date: if this coincides with the data of the withdrawn products, do not consume the product but return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
