Recall of Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna due to undeclared milk

Iceland is recalling Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna because a packaging error led to an exchange of products, therefore there may be undeclared milk in the product actually present in the package

Recall of Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna due to undeclared milk

The Food Standard Agency and Iceland have posted on their site a recall notice about a batch of Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna. The problem is about a packaging error: some packages may contain Iceland Takeaway Creamy Butter Chicken instead of the Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna as expected. However, the product contains milk which at this point is not mentioned in the ingredients or as an allergen, thus leading to a health risk for those with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

This recall notice is England, Wales and Scotland specific. If you have bought one of the Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna pack, check the Batch Code and the Best Before date: if they match with the recalled product and you have an allergy to milk, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store where you bought it for a refund.

Here the data of the recalled products:
