Village Quality Products is recalling Al Burj Halwa Pistachio because there is presence of Salmonella in the product
The Food Standards Agency has posted on its site a recall notice about Al Burj Halwa Pistachio of Village Quality Products. The problem is about the presence of Salmonella in some products listed below, that makes this product unsafe to eat. Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps. The recall is England, Wales and Scotland specific.
If you have bought the Al Burj Halwa Pistachio, check the production date, and then return it to the store where you bought it for a refund. The production year can be found on the lid of the product.
