Cake stand

The cake stand is a stand consisting of a raised tray, resting on a more or less high pedestal, which allows you to work more easily on the decoration of homemade cakes and desserts, but also to put them on display once ready to be served. They are both simple and modern design cake stands and more traditional ones, inspired by the shabby chic style and accessories of the past pastry shops; the most common materials are ceramic and Plexiglas.

There are different types of cake stand: the simplest is equipped with a single shelf, and is ideal for displaying fruit, cakes (even wedding!) and cream puffs on one level, while the more elaborate ones host several trays of various diameters, stacked thanks to a central column, perfect for welcoming pastries, muffins, cupcakes and all other components of breakfasts, brunches and snacks.

In addition to embellishing the table, the cake stands are also a convenient tool for easily lifting and turning the cakes to be decorated. Thanks to a real turntable for cakes, in fact, they allow you to comfortably decorate all sides.

Rotating cake stand are usually equipped with only one level, and for this reason there are also cake stands with matching lid, in order to protect the food stored inside them while maintaining mobility.
