Dunnes Stores is recalling Green Pitted Olives because they contain sulphur dioxide. This product was only sold in Northern Ireland

The Food Standards Agency has posted on its site a recall notice issued by Dunnes Stores about its Greek Green Pitted Olives. The problem is about the possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites: the batch recalled contain sulphur dioxide, which is not mentioned on the label. As stated by the Food Standadrs Agency, the recall notice is Northern Ireland specific.

If you have bought the Dunnes Stores Green Pitted Olives and you have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, check if the Use By Date is the same of the recalled product. If so, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store where you’ll have a full refund.
