The basting brush is a kitchen tool widely used in pastry making but also for glazing roasted white and red meat. The appearance is that of a common brush, however, equipped with food-grade, hygienic and heat-resistant silicone bristles, perfect for greasing doughs and foods, brushing rustic egg yolk and baked goods and oiling trays and molds without damaging the non-stick materials.
Even for desserts its use is fundamental: it allows you to spread the icing on biscuits and cakes, speeding up and optimizing the decoration process.
If made entirely of silicone, the brush can be washed safely in the dishwasher.
